Stay in the pocket with River Tiber

Thom Yorke and Bjork’s love child might sound a bit like Toronto’s experimental connoisseur Tommy of River Tiber. I vividly remember the day River Tiber's Synapses was released. A friend of mine said I should set aside some time to listen to it, so I did. Song after song, I was in a trance. I listened to the album front to back with pure ease and delight.
You would be a fool to try and put this artist in a box. His music is comprised of very technical, fragmented, sometimes odd and unconventional sounds beneath gorgeous crooning that hits you deeply and unapologetically.
Produced, arranged and sung by Tommy alone, he has created a masterpiece with The Star Falls EP.
