Return to Alt/Jazz

Besides being the guy every girl’s mother wants her to marry, JP Saxe is a Toronto gem that shines ever so brightly both on and off the stage. He has been compared to John Mayor, Michael Bublé and heavily inspired by Allen Stone. JP deserves all of the attention he’s getting and more.
His soothing songs and heartfelt poetic lyrics have a way of making you forget where you are and reach over and hug somebody. That may be because JP's caring soul really shines through his music. Aside from being a multi-instramentalist and song-writer, JP is also the founder of the Anton's Chair organization which he started after attending a youth trip to Kenya.
"Anton’s Chair is a movement which enables artists to speak out for the causes they care about - and enables art lovers and activists to support and connect with artists who are doing so. By bringing together a community of creators and appreciators who share a passion we turn art into advocacy, and advocacy into action."
